Oak Ride Farm Kennels and Cattery have been running successfully for the past 45 years. It is a third-generation family run business, supported by a dedicated team, who all just love the animals in their care.
โ
Noleen and Basil Toole took over the business in 1980, at that time it was just a kennels but a few years later in 1984 they extended and added the cattery. They also ran a Boxer Rescue and Rehome on the farm alongside the business which they were both very passionate about.
โ
They continued to run the business together for many years until Noleen sadly passed away in 2013. It was at this time her daughter Carolyn took over and continued to grow and develop the business by adding a dog grooming parlor and hydrotherapy unit in the years to follow.
โ
In 2021 Carolyns eldest daughter Hannah joined the team. She worked with Carolyn to help renovate the kennels post-covid to meet a new set of regulations which had just been introduced. It didn’t take her long to leave her hospitality career behind and join the team full-time.
โ
In 2024 Hannah’s husband Dave joined the team and together they have opened a secure walking field and have plans to renovate the cattery starting at the end of 2025 into 2026.โ

โMany of our boarding customers have been with us from the beginning, although now with a different generation of dogs and cats. Our customers although mainly local, come from all over the home counties with quite a lot coming out of London.
โ
Oak Ride Farm kennels and cattery benefits from being set in the middle of the Surrey countryside. It is easily accessible from London and sits just south of the M25 between Heathrow and Gatwick and is about an hour from the ferry at Portsmouth.
OUR PROCESS
KENNELS & CATTERY
The kennels hold a maximum of 35 dogs and the cattery a maximum of 60. All areas are covered by CCTV.
Before your pet’s first stay, we’ll ask you to complete a short profile with their information, routine, and your contact details. This helps us get to know them and provide the best possible care.
All dogs and cats must be fully vaccinated at least two weeks before boarding. Please bring their vaccination certificates each time they visit, and ensure they’re up to date with flea and worming treatments.
For your pet’s first stay, arrival times are between 8am and 12 noon.
This gives them plenty of time to settle in, explore, and get comfortable with our team before the afternoon begins.
Once your pet is settled, you can relax knowing they’re in safe hands.
Our experienced team will look after them as if they were our own, making their stay happy, secure, and stress-free.
Please note: No animals admitted after 4pm, and all drop offs and pick ups are by APPOINTMENT ONLY.
Viewings 14:00-15:00 by appointment only. Maximum two adults per viewing.
Please do not bring your dog with you for viewings, unless you are happy for them to stay in the car.
