Hydrotherapist - Part time
I recently qualified as a Canine Hydrotherapist alongside my career in law, having completed my Level 3 Certificate in Canine Hydrotherapy at Greyfriars Rehabilitation and Hydrotherapy Centre.
My interest in canine hydrotherapy began through my own dog, Ralph, a Pembroke Welsh Corgi, who was diagnosed with mild bilateral hip dysplasia. Hydrotherapy was introduced as part of a conservative approach to managing his condition, and seeing first-hand the positive impact it could have on his mobility and wellbeing inspired me to pursue a career working with dogs.
After many years working in the legal profession, I wanted to move towards a more vocational career where I could make a tangible difference through the work I do. I find canine hydrotherapy particularly rewarding because it allows me to play a practical role in supporting a dogβs mobility, health and quality of life.
Outside of work, I enjoy exploring the woods and countryside with my husband, two young boys and, of course, Ralph β who all keep me very busy!
